Battle of the Books For the months of November through January we will be running a 'contest' of sorts. We're putting the old with the new in a new variety of tournaments. We will be running an open League throught the months of December & January. During these months players will use either the new or old versions of the following Codex: Chaos Space Marines Eldar Tyranids Orks The battle of the books gives everyone an oppurtunity to play with out-dated armies and Codex's that have been replaced. Its primary design is to give some of the punch back to some themes. Quite a few armies gotten crippled with the new Codex's, so lets give them a chance to redeem themselves. To make sure everyone understands... you don't need to play Chaos vs. Chaos. Its an open League, play who you want with what you want. Not all games will be required to be played at Legions. All games are required to submit their final scores (Both VP and Kill Points) and Player Information to the following email address: \n

(Yes, 30 points available to those whom put in the extra work) The winning version of the Codex will be determined by the highest VP and Kill Points. I will submit updates for points standing every Sunday until the final week in January. Once the version has been decided, the tournament information will be posted on the Calendar and the Legions Forum. The League will be played in any Standard points limit using the Standard Force Organization Chart specific to their army. (NO APOCOLYPSE!!!)
